Wow, I would have never guessed Nevada. We own a home in Colorado, but it always seems like it is the worst where you are. Thank you for these tips. I am just trying to stay educated on the entire subject.

I did find this book recently that has techniques from a real estate expert and seasoned trial attorney, that alone impressed me right away, but the book is great because it explains it all in a very comprehensive way. It's brilliant and I learned a lot. Here is the info if anyone would like it.

"Defeat Foreclosure" by William Dorich and Merle Horwitz. Published by GM Books. Website: http://DefeatForeclosure.org

It is sad to see this all happening, but there are ways to avoid it! Just research it!!! Don't give up.

This is a very good article; thorough and to the point. One thing that wasn't mentioned is how you would find such a pre-foreclosure loan. Otherwise I couldn't agree with you more.

Pre foreclosure loans are great way of bridging the time between getting the house sold by the banks and your cash flow poor time. But don't get confused. You CAN avoid foreclosure in the first place. Check this out:

Thanks Larry, with foreclosure on the rise, I figured going back to basics wouldn't be a bad idea, since many of those being foreclosed are new to the housing market.
